◍ 양주시는 경기북부 거점도시로 균형발전을 도모하고 있습니다. 사통팔달 교통의 요지로 거듭나고 있는 양주는 GTX-C노선, 7호선 양주 옥정역 개설과 함께 대규모 택지개발이 진행되고 있으며 ‘시민과 함께 만드는 탄소중립 녹색도시, 그린 양주’라는 시정 목표 아래 시민 환경을 개선하고 녹색 경제도시로 거듭나기 위해 양주시만의 특화된 환경정책들을 성실히 이행하고 있습니다.
◍ Yangju, the urban center in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do, promotes balanced development. Yangju, is becoming a major transportation hub, developes large-scale housing sites with the opening of the GTX-C line and Yangju Okjeong Station on Line 7. We are faithfully implementing our specialized environmental policy to improve the civic environment and create a green economic city with the goal of "Green Yangju, a carbon-neutral green city built with citizens."
